FW Front Gallery Features An Artist’s Garden
Post Date: 04.01.2011
Throughout the month of April, the FW Front Gallery at Woolworth Walk will feature 12 new paintings by Asheville artist Jennifer Barrineau. A reception with the artist will be held from 5–7 p.m. on April 1.
A “tree” artist (she owned Tree Gallery and Gifts in downtown Asheville), Jennifer’s series captures the brightly colored essence of spring’s renewal. Her artistic expression leads viewers into a world where vibrant color, texture, and shape coalesce into thought-provoking creations.
“I paint because I have to,” says Jennifer, “and because I love to. Paint is a very magical medium for me. It enables me to extract from the thousands upon thousands of images racing through my mind, and share them with the world.”
For more information about the artist, visit jenniferbarrineauart.com. F.W. Front Gallery at Woolworth Walk is located at 25 Haywood Street in downtown Asheville. For more information, visit woolworthwalk.com or call 828.254.9234. Gallery hours are 11–6 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 11–7 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 11–5 p.m. Sunday.
