Early Morning In The Mountains
Drew Campbell - Post Date: 08.01.2010

After the sun has risen above the horizon, it’s time to look around at objects and scenes that are being lit by the slanting sunlight. Be creative and find close shots or long range views that are more dramatic in this light. Look for nice contrasts and morning shadows. These will add a pleasant new dimension to your photographs.
Drew Campbell is a member of the f/32 Photography Club and the Coastal Arts League in Half Moon Bay, California. He has had nature photographs and fine art photographs displayed at exhibits and shows throughout Western North Carolina, including the Black Mountain Center for the Arts, the Asheville Area Arts Council, and the Hendersonville Arts Council. Drew spends most of his time in his two favorite places: the mountains of Western North Carolina and the San Mateo coast of California, where he never runs out of photographic subjects.
The f/32 Photography Group meets the second Wednesday of each month at the Reuters Center on the UNCA campus at 6:30 p.m. The diverse individuals of Western North Carolina who are members of the group known as f/32 are young and old, professionals and amateurs. The common bond is a mutual love of photography and what it can show us about our world. Find out more at f32nc.com.
