90-Second Newbery Kids’ Film Festival

On April 22nd from 1:00-3:00pm, Asheville will host its first-ever 90-Second Newbery Kids’ Film Festival at the Lord Auditorium, Pack Memorial Library. The Festival is a national, multi-city annual event in which kids take a Newbery Award book and tell the entire story in a 90-second film – which they create! This first year features 14 wonderful local films. James Kennedy, creator of the national festival and local author Alan Grazt will host the event, which will premiere our 14 films and other best of” from around the country. Admission is FREE!
