AVL BARNAROO -33 acres of non-stop music and fun at Franny’s Farm. The festival was started by Andrew Scotchie and friends in 2009. It’s purpose is to showcase, promote and celebrate local and regional singer songwriters and bands in the rock & roll, folk, americana, bluegrass and funk genres. Barnaroo’s goal is to give back to the youth music community through Asheville Music School. The Festival is an ALL WEEKEND event at Franny’s Farm with optional camping and Sunday wake-up activities. Outside alcohol is not permitted at the festival. We feature 10+ amazing local and regional performers, plus student bands from AMS. There is local beer & food, dancing, great people, and awesome music!
