Drinking Buddies with Cayce Kolstad
March 19 @ 3:00 pm - 5:30 pm$360
March 19- May 7
Hey, Buddies, What’s your favorite beverage? Are you an herbal-tea drinker? A sake sipper? A wine aficionado? A soda pop freak? Whatever your pleasure, a delicious libation refreshes the spirit.
This class will have one main instructor, potter Cayce Kolstad, but will feature guest artists each week demonstrating all manner of drinking vessels including: cups, mugs, goblets, steins, shot glasses, teacups, tumblers and more. While many of the cups demonstrated and presented in the class will be made on the potter’s wheel, there will also be some that are hand built using pinch, coils, and slabs. With all the different unique amazing talents at Odyssey, this class is a great opportunity to see how several different artists approach a common form.
