Plant-based ultra-runner Josh LaJaunie speaks at The BLOCK

Plant-based ultra-runner Josh LaJaunie will participate in Brother Wolf Animal Rescue’s 7th annual Run for the Paws on Saturday, April 22, 9 a.m.-1:30 p.m., at New Belgium Brewing Company in Asheville.
After the event, LaJaunie will share his story and speak on the health and environmental benefits of plant-based living at The BLOCK off , 39 S Market St. B, Asheville on Saturday, April 22, 5 p.m. free of charge.
LaJaunie was born and raised in southern Louisiana. He grew up hunting, fishing, drinking, eating, and playing football. Ultimately, LaJaunie found himself tipping the scales at over 400 pounds. Since early 2011, he has lost 200 pounds and developed a love for running. LaJaunie is now exclusively a plant-based, plant-powered athlete.
