Taking Your Story to the Stage Storytelling Workshop
April 7 @ 9:00 am - April 9 @ 4:00 pm$450
The focus of this 3-day intensive “Taking Your Story to the Stage” workshop is on storytelling performance. Each participant is asked to come with a story that is almost “stage-ready.” We will begin on Friday with group and partner exercises and individual feedback designed to smooth rough edges and polish your story and performance.
In preparation for the performance, we will do sound and light checks and get comfortable with the performance space on Saturday. That evening we will meet at 6:45pm to welcome our audience for the performance beginning at 7:30pm. Connie will emcee the performance and introduce each storyteller (videographer services available at additional cost).
On Sunday, each participant will have the opportunity for reflection and self-assessment as well as receive individualized feedback, appreciations, critique, and suggestions from Connie and the other participants.
