“Trial by Fire”

October 10, 2017 @ 5:00 pm - October 15, 2017 @ 4:00 pm

The Gallery at Flat Rock will present the exhibit “Trial by Fire,” featuring over a dozen artists working in clay, from Oct. 10-15. The show will feature one piece each from over a dozen artists working in clay, as well as a brief statement from each artist focusing on how each has responded to a personal challenge – and how that challenge has shaped them and their artwork. An opening reception for “Trial by Fire” will take place from 5-7 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 10.

From 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 14, artists will give demos during an all-day pottery marketplace. To learn more, visit or call 828-698-7000. The Gallery at Flat Rock is located in Flat Rock Square at 2702-A Greenville Hwy. “Trial by Fire” is free and open to the public.
