Bed & Breakfast Tour to Benefit MANNA FoodBank
Post Date: 04.01.2011
Spend the day touring some of the city’s most treasured homes in the Asheville Bed and Breakfast Association’s Spring Inn Asheville Tour of B&Bs April 16–17 and help stock MANNA FoodBank’s shelves. The fund-raising tour runs each day from noon–4 p.m. and will feature 14 Reynolds Mansion local bed-and-breakfast inns. A portion of the ticket sales will go to MANNA FoodBank. There will also be raffles (one of the items is a $250 Asheville B&B Association gift certificate) and other fun surprises.
Visitors and residents can tour the inns and the grounds, visit with the proprietors, and enjoy great food from our local restaurants such as Curras Nuevo Cuisine, Vincenzo’s, Cucina 24, and Limones among others.
Inns on the tour include Reynolds Mansion, 1847 Blake House Inn, 1889 WhiteGate Inn & Cottage, A Bed of Roses, 1899 Wright Inn and Carriage House, Applewood Manor Inn, Lion & the Rose, North Lodge, Pinecrest, Dry Ridge Inn, Hawk & Ivy, Inn on Main Street, and Beaufort House Inn.
Tickets are available online at ashevillebba.com/tour through April 8 for $25 per person and $40 per couple (tickets cover both days). After April 8, tickets may be purchased at the Asheville Shop inside the Asheville Area Chamber of Commerce Visitors Center and from member inns at $30 per person and $50 per couple for both days.
