Appalachian Pastel Society Exhibit at Studio B

Studio B Custom Framing & Fine Art will be hosting a member exhibit for the Appalachian Pastel Society begin- ning with an opening reception from 5:30–7:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 16, and running until August 2.
The Appalachian Pastel Society was formed in 2006 to promote an under- standing and appreciation of soft pastel painting throughout the region. Pastel has a long and illustrious history dating back to the 1600s and is enjoying a surge in popularity today among artists and collectors alike.
Studio B is located at 171 Weaverville Highway. Hours are 10–5:30 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and from 10–3 p.m. on Saturday. For more information, call 828.225.5200 or visit galleryatstudiob.com.
