The Fork2Farmer Initiative aims to build public awareness around local chef-farmer relationships and encourage agritourism as a means to diversify small family farm income. The hope is that foodies and localvores will be inspired to visit local farms to learn more about the farmers who devote their lives to growing the fresh ingredients chefs so adore.

The Fork2Farmer video featured here describes the partnership between chef Katie Button of Asheville’s Nightbell Restaurant and local farmer Tom Brody of Black Mountain’s Rise Up Rooted Farm.
