2019 Pollination Celebration
June 17 @ 10:00 am - June 23 @ 5:00 pm
2019 Pollination Celebration!
This June, Asheville GreenWorks and Bee City USA – Asheville will be celebrating our 7th annual Pollination Celebration! We have an exciting lineup of events throughout the month (with a special focus on National Pollinator Week: June 17th – 23rd) in locations across Asheville and Buncombe County. All events highlight the integral role of pollinators. These dedicated creatures help create roughly a third of all the food we eat, pollinate 90% of our wild plants, and sustain the ecosystems we so greatly depend on. Please come join us at these incredible events, listed below, to learn about pollinators, discover ways each of us can mitigate their decline, and celebrate all they do for us!
This celebration is made possible by contributions from our sponsors: Wicked Weed Brewing, Reems Creek Nursery, Painters Greenhouse, and Zealandia Holding Company—and by the generosity and hard work of the organizations that are hosting these events.
