Artist Talk: Kristin Cammermeyer

July 12 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Free

Cammermeyer will be transforming 1708 into the set of a site-specific stop motion video, welcoming audience engagement and engendering a spirit of transparency.

Cammermeyer’s work investigates space, form and materiality through repurposing and rehabilitating objects as a response to in-flux urban and environmental circumstances. Seeking to assist underutilized materials in transcending obsolescence by extending and redefining their use, Kristin’s work is informed by the parameters of site, duration, material availability, and audience interaction.

In Constant Circulation is made possible by Diversity Richmond and Iridian Gallery.
