Folded Book Art: Teapot Workshop
October 13 @ 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm$35
Nothing warms up a room quite like a shelf of colorful books. Now you can use books to accessorize your home in a different way: turn them into folded book art!
In this fun and easy, two-hour workshop, Deana Murchison will show you how to take a hardcover book and, with just a few simple folds, turn it into a work of art—in this case, a teapot. The class will cover how to: select an appropriate book for your project; prepare your book; mark and fold your book; and ready your book for display. Deana will also tell you where to find additional book folding patterns for future projects.
Note: This workshop will be held during Purple Crayon’s Birthday Bash and Art and Supplies Sale. If you’d like, you can come early, grab a piece of cake, and shop for a gift for yourself or a friend!
