Learn how to draw with glass! This class will focus on creating imagery on flameworked borosilicate glass. The basics of flameworking will be covered before moving into creating imagery. Stringer drawing will be demonstrated and applied with techniques like disc flips, cut and flip, and surface work. Students will learn through a hands on approach with torch time to practice these different processes. Sandblast resist methods will also be touched upon to create images, patterns, and textures to the surface of glass objects and vessels. This class is open to all levels.
