Heralded form a young age as a cellist destined to rank among the greatest of the 21st century, Julian Schwarz’s powerful tone, effortless virtuosity, and extraordinarily large color palate are on full display with elegant and riveting solo works by Tchaikovsky and Popper. The Hendersonville Symphony completes the season with Stravinsky’s colorful, powerful Firebird Suite.
