The Laurel of Asheville is a lifestyle magazine focused on the arts, culture, and communities of Western North Carolina, and submitted events should fall within this context. If your event occurs over several days, please submit multiple events. Events extending beyond a four-day schedule will not be accepted. All submissions are subject to editorial approval and edits for clarity and style before being published online. If you are going to include a photograph, please be certain that you have the rights to utilize that image. If there is a question about image rights, we may remove the image. Johnson Farm Spring Festival

Come celebrate spring at Historic Johnson Farm in Hendersonville, NC on Saturday April 27th from 10 am to 4 pm. This event is suitable for all ages, and for individuals, families and children. The farm is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Enjoy tours of the 1880s farmhouse, animals, heritage skills demonstrations, the Heritage Weavers, wagon rides, activities for children, sale of crafts and food, bake sale.The Mountain Bridge Band is performing, as well as the Green Valley Cloggers and Mountain Tradition Cloggers. The farm is on 15 acres of forest, field and stream with 10 historic structures. It is owned by Henderson Co. Public Schools.
