The Laurel of Asheville is a lifestyle magazine focused on the arts, culture, and communities of Western North Carolina, and submitted events should fall within this context. If your event occurs over several days, please submit multiple events. Events extending beyond a four-day schedule will not be accepted. All submissions are subject to editorial approval and edits for clarity and style before being published online. If you are going to include a photograph, please be certain that you have the rights to utilize that image. If there is a question about image rights, we may remove the image. Potters of Madison County Show and Sale

A showcase of some of the finest ceramic artists in the southeast and beyond, featuring a diverse array of functional and sculptural wares. You’ll find earthy wood fired flasks, bright and whimsical dessert plates, hand built lamps and vases, ceremonial tea ware and everything in between. The sale is held in the sunny auditorium of Marshall High Studios, a charming 1920s brick high school that was converted into artist studios in 2007. Marshall High is nestled on a 10 acre island in the French Broad River, a short walk from historic downtown Marshall, NC. Enjoy artisan coffee and pastries from Asheville’s OWL Bakery and delicious Thai food from the Bun Intended food truck.
