The Laurel of Asheville is a lifestyle magazine focused on the arts, culture, and communities of Western North Carolina, and submitted events should fall within this context. If your event occurs over several days, please submit multiple events. Events extending beyond a four-day schedule will not be accepted. All submissions are subject to editorial approval and edits for clarity and style before being published online. If you are going to include a photograph, please be certain that you have the rights to utilize that image. If there is a question about image rights, we may remove the image. Coinciding with the 50th Anniversary of the premiere of “Gilligan’s Island” and her book “What Would Mary Ann Do?” Dawn Well’s shares anecdotes of her life and career including being trapped on an island.
A very funny & candid self-portrait featuring a multi-media presentation filled with vintage family slides, rare clips and hysterical outtakes.
Dawn wraps up the show by taking questions from the audience leaving them with a memorable experience they talk about for months to come.
