The Laurel of Asheville is a lifestyle magazine focused on the arts, culture, and communities of Western North Carolina, and submitted events should fall within this context. If your event occurs over several days, please submit multiple events. Events extending beyond a four-day schedule will not be accepted. All submissions are subject to editorial approval and edits for clarity and style before being published online. If you are going to include a photograph, please be certain that you have the rights to utilize that image. If there is a question about image rights, we may remove the image. Also, images should be no larger than 2000 pixels wide. Large images will prevent the event from being submitted. Please allow up to 4 days for your even to be posted. Zero K (0.0) for EDIN and CRC for ED!
It’s like a walk, but not – it’s a Zero K! Participants can not ;) walk to support these eating disorders nonprofits by joining a team to donate and by sharing the campaign on their social media platforms. Let’s foster our existing North Carolina and Georgia eating disorders communities and build even more awareness! This is a fun way to get involved from home and we are excited to be part of this on-line effort with you.
This eating disorders awareness and support campaign kicks-off on Monday, May 11th and closes on ‘Zero K Day’ (June 8th). There are fantastic prizes for the highest fundraisers for each team and each participant will receive a gift!
Also… keep an eye out for more information about a simultaneous after party in Atlanta and Asheville. It may be virtual or in person, who knows?
