You will start with a rectangular brass base\, (or upgrade to sterling silver in a variety of shapes and styles) then choose your silver accent piece\, and finally a gemstone of choice. After a quick demo by the instructor you can spend the next 45 minutes to complete your masterpiece. \nOur magnetic tumbler will polish your piece to perfection and you have an option of some finishing patinas as well. Upgrade to earrings\, make additional pendants for friends etc. \n$45 Base Price includes a brass charm\, gemstone drop\, jump ring\, and base metal chain. Formed in the summer of 2025\, long time friends Jack\, Jesse\, and Nick found themselves once again living in the same town and ready to start a new musical project. These three had spent years touring across the world\, often but not always in the same group. With a shared love of music\, humor\, and brotherhood\, The Nature Boys was born in a way that can only be described as natural. Soon after getting the wheels rolling\, they enlisted Asheville aces Coop and Korey\, now forming one of Asheville’s premier 5-piece bluegrass bands\, The Nature Boys. All participants will receive a free signed poster of one of Albert’s creations as a special gift for joining him in this creative art making experience.  \nHis nationally renowned “Modern Pop Art Experience” Art programs will have toured more than 100 cities in six states this summer including: Alabama\, Mississippi\, Louisiana\, Georgia\, South Carolina & North Carolina.  Over the past 15 years he has been running this art enrichment program and brought it to more than 1\,500 libraries\, museums\, schools\, art and community centers in 48 states so far. \nAmerican Pop Artist Michael Albert was born and raised in New York on Long Island where he graduated from New York University with a business degree. Albert is the author of an artist autobiography titled\, “An Artist’s America” (Henry Holt\, 2008). His work has been described as a cross between Pop Art\, Cubism and Recycling.

Regardless if you’re sitting by a backyard fire on a muggy Louisiana night or standing stage-side in some far flung town\, when you hear Chris Acker playing\, you’re hearing the end result of countless hours of observing the masters of the craft…and the end result of repeating their mistakes. \nFrom the folk revival through the golden age of country music\, deafened by punk shows and brass bands alike\, Chris’s songwriting is a nod to the absurd yet muted brilliance that inhabits the molded corners of the bars he patrons and cratered street he treads\, paired with a pained honesty that merits a long second look. \nAcker released his fourth full-length album\, Famous Lunch\, on Gar Hole Records in October of 2024.
