DESCRIPTION:Enroll now for the next 10-class session of handmade shoemaking. Course teaches each student how to make themselves a pair of custom leather shoes from scratch. The workshop covers all the skills required for making a pair of shoes by hand and is taught through demonstrations and instruction. Some of the skills covered in the course include: measuring\, fitting and modifying lasts for your feet\, pattern making\, skiving\, sewing\, lasting\, soling\, pegging and finishing leather. The record shimmers with musical sophistication but leaves just enough space for the listener to feel what Wilcox has always done best: tell the truth\, gently but without apology. \nThe music he’s creating now comes from a place that can’t be faked. In recent years\, Wilcox’s life has been shaped by his wife’s Parkinson’s diagnosis—a shift that reordered his priorities and redefined his sense of time\, love\, and presence.
