In 2019\, Pat took the US by storm\, with breakout performances at the 30A Festival\, SXSW\, Kerrville Folk Festival and the Americana Festival. Being immersed in the Texas music scene\, Pat’s sophomore US release\, Into the Light\, has an edgier feel underscoring both emotional depth and greater confidence\, while blending new influences with his rich Irish heritage. \n5j Barrow is a soulful indie band founded in 2011 by Broadway performers Eryn Murman and Jason Hite\, whose heartfelt lyrics and evocative sound have captivated audiences from the Apollo Theater to Washington Square Park. Named “Best Band in NY” after winning WNYC/WQXR’s 2014 Battle of the Boroughs\, they’ve built a devoted following and recently completed a year-long North American tour. Their releases include the debut album From the Dim Sweet Light and the three-part EP series The Journey (2017–2019). Now based in Asheville\, NC\, they continue to create and perform across the country.

Swaying from an acapella Irish ballad to a rowdy Romani fiddle tune\, Heckler has taken on a style of writing that sounds timeless\, rustic and entirely his own. \nTouring solo for a decade\, Heckler made a name for himself opening for the likes of Benjamin Tod & Lost Dog Street Band\, Flogging Molly and Devil Makes Three\, playing many of the biggest theatres and venues in the country. Fronted by Corey Stevenson\, the band is known for its raw energy\, gritty authenticity\, and standout guitar work. By 14\, Corey was already making industry connections with Noel Golden and Edwin McCain\, later studying at the Greenville Fine Arts Center under Steve Watson. He went on to earn a music leadership scholarship to Newberry College and share stages with artists like Victor Wooten\, Steve Bailey\, and the studio Brent Mason. \nA Golden Ticket winner on American Idol and Top 16 finisher in the Country Music Bracket\, Corey recently formed the band with Jake Keller and Lance Sweat. The group has shared stages with Bucky Covington\, Big Smo\, Zach Myers\, and the Kentucky Headhunters\, and is set to play over 200 shows in 2026. With multiple independent chart successes\, their upcoming album Loaded 44 drops October 17th\, continuing their mission to bring real\, hard-hitting music back to the forefront. \nMAD DOG BLUES BAND \nA blues and soul collective with roots in the 1990s\, The Mad Dog Blues Band is made up of gifted musicians and singers from Asheville\, New York City\, Washington D.C.\, and North Georgia. DESCRIPTION:(FREE) Meet and talk with woodworking artist Larry Ricci during the Gallery Walk in July. \nOne of the greatest gifts Larry ever received was when his dad put tools in his hands when he was a kid. He was later inspired by the sculptural furniture of artist George Nakashima and visited the Nakashima studio often in the years that followed. After a 40+ year career in education\, he began working mostly with local\, highly figured hardwoods and burls to create unique pieces of art that maintain the organic beauty of the wood. The wood\, with its shape\, figure\, imperfections and voids\, is what draws his attention and curiosity. Sometimes the imperfections are what creates the greatest interest in studying the piece. Larry always attempts to balance form and function\, but sometimes one of those wins out.

Diane will provide all the tools and equipment\, so you just need to show up.  \nStudents will learn the basics of handling clay along with a couple easy techniques which we will use to complete a small project of making pens which make fun gifts. DESCRIPTION:(FREE) Meet and watch Holland Van Gores apply milk paint to his incredible wooden sculptures. \nHolland has spent the better part of his life working with wood. As a child\, he had access to his father’s workshop and was able to use the tools and supplies. Learning these skills early in life\, led him to choose a career in construction where he honed his skills in California before taking on construction work in remote Costa Rica and eventually the United States Virgin Islands. Holland and his family relocated to western North Carolina in 2012 where he built a studio surrounded by the Pisgah National Forest. He is constantly experimenting with forms and textures\, often inspired by organic themes. “Making something with my hands allows me to feel a connection to that piece\, giving it a purpose.”

Following the instruction and creation time\, we will transition into the Salt Cave for a healing meditation session. DESCRIPTION:Come explore your creativity with artist Diane Kuehn with this step-by-step two-day workshop where you will learn to build a layered\, textured pendant or brooch with a variety of techniques using polymer clay. We’ll start with a color palette pleasing to you and then learn some surface design and embellishment techniques to design your one-of-a-kind pendant. You will also learn how to assemble your pendant and incorporate the mechanisms for doing so. \nAt the end of the workshop\, each participant will have at least one pendant or brooch completed. Time allowed\, students can create more than one piece.
