SUMMARY:All Your Friends
DESCRIPTION:An indie dance party for the ones who still romanticize a scratched iPod\, American Spirits\, and a blurry night soundtracked by bloghouse and post-punk revival. All Your Friends is at Eulogy on 13 June 2026\, bringing the sweat\, synths\, and nostalgia of the early 2010’s house party. \nThis is your basement-floor flashback to tight jeans\, smudged eyeliner\, and nights that felt like a house show turned afterparty. Expect a high-energy dance floor fueled by indie sleaze classics and remixes you forgot you loved\, from LCD Soundsystem and The Rapture to Foals\, Yeah Yeah Yeahs\, TV on the Radio\, MGMT\, Crystal Castles\, and more. No frills\, just bodies in motion. \nWhether you never left the Lower East Side or just miss the chaos of that era\, All Your Friends is a night dedicated to bad decisions\, blown speakers\, and the soundtrack of your favorite forgotten memories. Come ready for the sweat\, the noise\, and the party your Tumblr warned you about at Eulogy.

SUMMARY:FREE PATIO SHOW: The Nature Boys
DESCRIPTION:– FREE SHOW\n– LIMITED PATIO SEATING IS FIRST COME FIRST SERVE\nTHE NATURE BOYS \nHailing from the Appalachian musical stronghold of Asheville\, NC\, The Nature Boys are coming in hot with their brand of bluegrass. As veterans of the acoustic music scene\, they are combining a deep love of traditional string band music with a refreshing catalog of original songs\, dazzling fans with a certain je ne sais quoi that is both genuine and relatable. Formed in the summer of 2025\, long time friends Jack\, Jesse\, and Nick found themselves once again living in the same town and ready to start a new musical project. These three had spent years touring across the world\, often but not always in the same group. With a shared love of music\, humor\, and brotherhood\, The Nature Boys was born in a way that can only be described as natural. Soon after getting the wheels rolling\, they enlisted Asheville aces Coop and Korey\, now forming one of Asheville’s premier 5-piece bluegrass bands\, The Nature Boys. The band is currently performing regionally and is recording their debut album\, to be released in late 2026.

SUMMARY:Hemlock Treatment Demonstration
DESCRIPTION:The Hemlock Restoration Initiative (HRI) is hosting a demonstration of chemical treatment methods to control the invasive hemlock woolly adelgid (HWA) on Saturday\, June 13th from 9am to 12pm at Warren Wilson College in Swannanoa\, NC. \nHemlock trees in western North Carolina are an important and irreplaceable component of our forests. These trees have been suffering for over two decades from hemlock woolly adelgid (HWA)\, an invasive insect that can kill the tree in as little as four years. \nHowever\, hemlock management is simpler and less expensive than ever before. This hands-off demonstration will be useful for landowners\, natural resource managers and tree care professionals. We will use the trees on-site to practice assessing hemlock health to determine the best treatment options\, and HRI staff will demonstrate the HWA chemical treatment methods used on national forest and state lands. These methods are available to all private landowners in North Carolina without obtaining a license or certification. We will also discuss applicator and environmental safety\, special considerations and guidance for hiring a tree care professional. \nThe backup weather date for this event will be Saturday\, June 27th. Please also note that the demonstration will occur on a slightly sloped surface and some demonstrations may require climbing a short hill to view them. \nNC pesticide applicators can earn 3 credits for attending (categories G\, L\, N\, D\, and X)\, and ISA members can earn CEUs (credits currently pending). \nRegistration is required. Please visit our website to register. Email education@savehemlocksnc.org or call 828-252-4783 with questions about the event.

SUMMARY:Drivin N Cryin
DESCRIPTION:DRIVIN N CRYIN \nDrivin N Cryin is an enduring American rock band whose roots-forward sound and uncompromising spirit have made them a vital force since forming in Atlanta\, Georgia in 1985. Blending Southern rock grit\, folk storytelling\, and hard-charging rock & roll\, the band built a reputation early on as a must-see live act and a songwriter’s band with depth far beyond trends. \nLed by singer-songwriter Kevn Kinney and anchored by bassist Tim Nielsen and drummer Dave Johnson\, Drivin N Cryin broke through nationally with a run of influential albums that helped define late-’80s and early-’90s American rock. Songs like “Fly Me Courageous\,” “Honeysuckle Blue\,” “Straight to Hell\,” “Build a Fire\,” and “Scarred But Smarter” became staples of rock and AAA radio\, with Fly Me Courageous earning Gold certification and remaining a cornerstone of the band’s catalog. \nWhile they emerged during the MTV era\, Drivin N Cryin never disappeared. Over four decades\, they’ve remained a consistently touring\, recording band — releasing new music\, evolving their sound\, and cultivating a loyal\, multigenerational audience. Their influence extends well beyond their own recordings; “Straight to Hell” found new life through covers and collaborations that introduced the song to entirely new audiences. \nThe band’s stature is reflected in both peer respect and formal recognition\, including induction into the Georgia Music Hall of Fame\, as well as Kinney’s induction into the Milwaukee Music Hall of Fame. Touring history includes shared stages with artists spanning multiple eras and genres\, The Who\, Hootie & The Blowfish\, The Black Crowes\, ZZ Top\, Soul Asylum\, Blackberry Smoke\, The Marshall Tucker Band\, Jason Isbell\, along with recent appearances on destination events like Rock Boat\, Outlaw Country Cruise\, and Moon Crush. \nTheir latest album\, Crushing Flowers\, marks a deliberate return to the band’s core. Stripped back to the original three-piece\, the record favors clarity\, chemistry\, and feel over excess — a confident\, back-to-basics statement from a band that knows exactly who it is. Rather than chasing nostalgia or novelty\, Crushing Flowers reinforces what has always set Drivin N Cryin apart: honest songs\, emotional weight\, and the unmistakable sound of a band still fully engaged in the work. \nNearly forty years in\, Drivin N Cryin remains a living\, breathing American rock band — not a revival act\, not a footnote\, but a continuing story still being written.

SUMMARY:PATIO SHOW: Brendan Lane & The Sugar Packets
DESCRIPTION:BRENDAN LANE & THE SUGAR PACKETS\nOriginally hailing from Annapolis\, singer-songwriter Brendan Lane has been making music since his school days\, where he and his friends — all devout fans of Jimmie’s Chicken Shack\, Bumpin’ Uglies\, and Pressing Strings — channeled their creative energy into a series of initial sonic experiments. Fuelled by the confidence from these early experiences\, Brendan decided to take the leap and commit to music full-time\, his first self-written tracks making their public debuts at a range of local all-ages gigs — and the rest was history. \nDistilling influences from The Beatles to Blink-182 via a deep detour in blues country courtesy of B.B. King and John Mayer\, Brendan quickly became known for his nostalgic\, positive\, soul-rockin’ blend of\, well\, rock and soul — although as an innovator at heart\, nods to more contemporary inspirations like Jon Batiste and Taylor Swift can also be found somewhere in the mix\, keeping things fresh. \nHaving released a number of singles and an EP\, performed in seven countries across three continents to date\, and refined his reputation as an electric live performer both solo and with his band\, The Sugar Packets\, Brendan’s momentum is at an all-time high as he prepares for his biggest year yet. Plans for monthly single releases and a slew of live performances throughout 2024 are already in the works\, which will culminate in the release of a full-length album at the end of the year — much to the delight of his diverse and growing fanbase.

SUMMARY:Footloose
DESCRIPTION:This musical doesn’t just dance\, it dazzles! Set to the anthems that defined a generation — “Holding Out for a Hero\,” “Let’s Hear It for the Boy\,” “Almost Paradise\,” and of course “Footloose” — this show is sure to kick off an electrifying summer. \n	Dancing is not a crime…except in Bomont\, Texas. Then Ren McCormack rolls in\, all city swagger\, restless energy\, and a heartbeat too loud to ignore\, which catches the eye of the preacher’s daughter with a wild streak of her own.\n When Ren’s beat hits\, the quiet cracks\, the pulse quickens\, and the town just can’t stand still. What begins as rebellion becomes revival\, grief gives way to groove\, and a community reclaims its rhythm.\n	The band’s on fire\, the kicks are higher\, now you gotta cut loose! Catch Footloose at the Flat Rock Playhouse June 12-July 5.

SUMMARY:Hudson Freeman + lots of hands
DESCRIPTION:lots of hands\ninto a pretty room — lots of hands’ debut on Fire Talk Records — exists in the tear-stained early mornings of adolescence\, just as the sun makes its first appearance over the horizon and thoughts of the night before begin to subside. A collage of reworked demos\, freewheeling session standouts\, and swatches of instrumental electronics\, into a pretty room offers a touching rumination of grief and loss\, growing up and letting go. \nBilly Woodhouse and Elliot Dryden\, the core duo behind lots of hands\, first connected in a Newcastle school music program at age 16. Following years of cultivating a dedicated fanbase across 3 self-released records\, into a pretty room marks the duo’s first truly collaborative effort\, with Dryden often trekking the vast northern English countryside to write and record in Woodhouse’s bedroom studio. Between pints of beer and rounds of Fortnite\, the two slowly chipped away at into a pretty room. \nTORRI WEIDINGER

SUMMARY:PATIO SHOW: ZG Smith & Madison Hughes
DESCRIPTION:– LIMITED PATIO SEATING IS FIRST COME FIRST SERVE\nZG SMITH & MADISON HUGHES \nZG Smith is the Los Angeles-born\, Nashville-based son of an English professor mother and a shipwreck diver and underwater archaeologist father. For over ten years\, he fronted the band Smooth Hound Smith who headlined tours in the US\, Europe\, and the UK and supported artists like The Chicks\, Collective Soul\, Trombone Shorty\, Jamestown Revival\, and many more. Following the release of their third album in 2019 and a month-long European tour in February 2020\, the band’s eventual hiatus caused Smith to refocus towards other artistic pursuits. “I started seeking out music again like I did when I was younger. I realized that I had been so focused on Smooth Hound Smith and had been trying to push the band forward\, that I stopped listening to music just for enjoyment. Because of the pandemic\, I had time\, so I dug a massive hole in my backyard\, leveled it off\, and laid a patio of over 1\,200 bricks\, all by hand. It took me about a month. I would just be out there all day in the sun listening to North African desert blues\, EDM\, ‘90s hip hop\, or bizarre\, outsider folk music. A lot of that stuff really informed the music I ended up creating months later.”\nMadison Hughes makes music that lives in the in-between — the space between falling apart and finding your footing. Her sound pulls from the women who defined late ’90s Americana — Sheryl Crow\, Norah Jones\, Mazzy Star — and roots it in something country-blues and lived-in. Warm\, honest\, and a little worn around the edges. Like someone you trust quickly\, even if you just met.

This event celebrates the RAD Brewing Co’s May round-up contributions to MountainTrue and Blue Ghost Strength + Yoga’s Community Spotlight\, which will donate $1 for every student in a class to MountainTrue for the month of June. \nBlue Ghost Strength + Yoga is a new fitness studio in the bottom floor of The Wyre apartments in the RAD\, offering heated and non-heated classes that blend kettlebell-based strength training\, vinyasa flow\, mobility\, and breathwork for all levels. \nSchedule:\n4 to 5:30 Kid activities outside (bubbles\, chalk\, etc.) hosted by Blue Ghost staff\n4:30 20 min presentation from Josh Kelly of MountainTrue
