DESCRIPTION:Enroll now for the next 10-class session of handmade shoemaking. Course teaches each student how to make themselves a pair of custom leather shoes from scratch. The workshop covers all the skills required for making a pair of shoes by hand and is taught through demonstrations and instruction. Some of the skills covered in the course include: measuring\, fitting and modifying lasts for your feet\, pattern making\, skiving\, sewing\, lasting\, soling\, pegging and finishing leather. Each class time lasts four hours.

Spicely boarded a bus in downtown Durham but never made it back to camp. The Black soldier\, newly stationed at a nearby Army base and unfamiliar with the South’s Jim Crow laws\, was shot twice in the chest by the bus driver after a dispute over his seat. The driver reboarded the bus and continued his route.
