The “Walk for Your Neighbor” is an annual fundraiser hosted by Swannanoa Valley Christian Ministry (SVCM) that invites the community to come together in support of local families and individuals facing hardships. The event allows participants to walk a scenic route through Black Mountain, symbolizing many of our neighbors’ journeys as they strive toward stability and hope.<\/p>\n
The funds raised will directly benefit SVCM\u2019s various programs, with a special focus on addressing the growing needs of unhoused individuals and families in the community.<\/p>\n
Participants can walk individually or as part of a team, and the event is open to all ages. It\u2019s more than just a walk\u2014it’s a powerful demonstration of community spirit and a shared commitment to making a difference in the lives of our
