What can one person do when the Climate Change challenge is so great?
\nThe WNC Sierra Club asked multiple knowledgeable people to offer answers at their March meeting.
\nAmy Musser, co-founder and principal of VandeMusser Design, will provide ideas to do at home for energy-saving changes. Tips will range from easy things that any homeowner or renter can do to DIY challenges. She will also identify tax credits and incentives that can make change more affordable.
\nDacia Harris, Asheville High School teacher, and students will outline their Eco Challenge\/Drawdown system to create teams competing to lower your climate footprint. The students represent an Asheville team that has won a national championship on this subject. They will challenge what you think you know.
\nAnd, Sophie Mullinex of Electrify Asheville will talk about how rebates and tax incentives can offset the cost of cost-saving installations like solar energy and heat pumps.
