Two Asheville natives, now international classical music soloists, return to their hometown to give two concerts on August 9th and 10th. Clarinetist Aaron Lipsky and Pianist Christopher Tavernier will perform music by Debussy, Brahms, and Clara and Robert Schumann. Lipsky is an Artist Diploma student at the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music, where he just returned from soloing in the Czech Republic. Tavernier is a Master\u2019s student at the Eastman School of Music in New York, who recently performed solo concerts on the Amalfi Coast in Italy. <\/p>\n
Both concerts are free with donations encouraged. <\/p>\n
