Join us as Michael Albert leads a Hands-On Collage workshop where participants will have the chance to create their own masterpieces using cereal boxes and other colorful cardboard packaging. All participants will receive a free signed poster of one of Albert\u2019s creations as a special gift for joining him in this creative art making experience. <\/p>\n
His nationally renowned \u201cModern Pop Art Experience\u201d Art programs will have toured more than 100 cities in six states this summer including: Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, Georgia, South Carolina & North Carolina. Over the past 15 years he has been running this art enrichment program and brought it to more than 1,500 libraries, museums, schools, art and community centers in 48 states so far.<\/p>\n
American Pop Artist Michael Albert was born and raised in New York on Long Island where he graduated from New York University with a business degree. Albert is the author of an artist autobiography titled, \u201cAn Artist\u2019s America\u201d (Henry Holt, 2008). His work has been described as a cross between Pop Art, Cubism and
