A personal historian, Sam launched The Cheerful Word to help turn memories into memoirs. Through a range of options including interviews, workshops, and coaching sessions, The Cheerful Word helps clients create a meaningful finished product, from audio recordings to lightly edited transcriptions to first-person leather-bound books. Sam writes Life Story Books based on personal interviews that bring out a theme or aspect of one\u2019s life. \u201cWe are not biographers or ghost writers,\u201d says Joe Kaplan, Vice President of The Cheerful Word. \u201cOur goal is to produce something that, when you read it, you say, \u2018That sounds just like dad!\u2019\u201d For those who wish to write their own, Sam also offers \u201cMy Life Stories,\u201d an eight-week guided memoir writing workshop. \u201cIn every case, my goals are to honor, encourage, and inspire both the writer and the reader,\u201d says Sam.<\/p>\n<p><em>The next \u201cMy Life Stories\u201d workshop begins September 1.
