The exhibit will run from February 11\u201325, and will be available online (amerifolk.com) beginning at noon on Tuesday, February 9. There will be a public reception from 5\u20137 p.m. on Friday, February 12, at the gallery.<\/p>\n<p>This popular show requires something unique from the artists, in that each piece must be no larger than nine by seven inches. This restriction always fuels the creative spirit of the artists who never cease to amaze by what they\u2019re able to create.<\/p>\n<p>Timed to take place in the middle of winter and just before Valentine\u2019s Day, the Miniatures Show has evolved over the years into a welcome tradition. It is a celebration of love and a gathering to appreciate the smallest and the finest things in life.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_3437\" style=\"width: 160px\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><a href=\"https:\/\/thelaurelofasheville.com\/updatestage\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/American_Folk_Art-Karl_Mullen-copy_vert.jpg\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-3437\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-3437\" class=\"size-thumbnail wp-image-3437\" src=\"https:\/\/thelaurelofasheville.com\/updatestage\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/American_Folk_Art-Karl_Mullen-copy_vert-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"American Folk Karl Mullen\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-3437\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Artist, Karl Mullen<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Modernist Ellie Ali will be contributing to the exhibit for the first time. Karl Mullen\u2019s miniatures are actually quite powerful, despite their diminutive size.
