Italian master Stefano Cecchini is adept at integrating hyperrealism, realism, and impressionistic techniques. He will be unveiling his new wildlife collection at a special reception from 6\u20137:30 p.m. on Sunday, February 14, at the Grand Bohemian Gallery. The reception will immediately be followed by the annual Cecchini Art & Wine Dinner at the Grand Bohemian Hotel.<\/p>\n
Stefano was born in Italy and, after graduating with a degree in political science from the University of Bologna, he followed his creative passion and entered into a career of painting. His career path has included being an illustrator and painter of major marketing campaigns for Immagini Agency, a prestigious advertising agency in Rimini, Italy. In 1984, he entered into a collaboration with director Federico Fellini whereby he was commissioned to paint scenery for the film Fred and Ginger<\/i>.<\/p>\n
He enjoys painting large-scale images of wildlife from different continents. Prior to putting brush to surface, Stefano studies the animals in their natural environment so as to better capture their natural beauty and essence. In this way, he says he \u201cbecomes the animal.\u201d<\/p>\n
Stefano has mastered the technique of painting on wood and using oil and tempera to create a trompe l\u2019oeil effect that has gained him worldwide acclaim. The Grand Bohemian Gallery is the exclusive worldwide representative of the artist and his works.<\/p>\n
