There will be artist demonstrations, complimentary wine, and ten percent off everything in the gallery.<\/p>\n<p>From noon to 4 p.m. on Friday, Grovewood studio artist Helen Purdum will show you how she creates imaginative surface designs on her bisque-fired bowls and cups. Be sure to heck out the colorful caricatures in her \u201cGirlfriends\u201d series.<\/p>\n<p>And then from noon to 4 p.m. on Saturday, art instructor Krista Skrede will demonstrate the intricate art of paper cutting as she fashions delicate\u2014and often dramatic\u2014two- and three-dimensional compositions.<\/p>\n<p>Andy Hale, sommelier from Metro Wines in Asheville, will also be on hand to answer questions from 3\u20135 p.m. on Saturday.<\/p>\n<p><i>Grovewood Gallery is located at 111 Grovewood Road, adjacent to the Omni Grove Park Inn.
