Linda Allen<\/p><\/div>\n

Linda Allen is a self-taught artist. \u201cSince I was a little girl growing up in Madison County, I\u2019ve seen art in everything around me,\u201d she says. Much of Linda\u2019s inspiration came from her father. \u201cHe rescued vehicles that would periodically careen into ravines along the county\u2019s serpentine roadways,\u201d Linda says. \u201cHe taught me even rusted metal and broken glass from wrecked vehicles is art.\u201d<\/p>\n

Linda\u2019s work covers everything from still life paintings, to portraits of people and pets, to personified animals, to \u201ccurated and re-loved furniture.\u201d Her themes range from \u201cdecay\u2019s beauty to the brilliance of new life.\u201d My Fresh Palette has been open for three years and thrived during the pandemic. \u201cI found that the need for creatively making our homes more comfortable was stronger than ever with customers sheltering at home,\u201d says Linda. My Fresh Palette offers gifts, vintage items, art classes and Annie Sloan Chalk Paint.<\/p>\n
