Andrea Bryson and David Huebner<\/p><\/div>\n

Clothes Mentor co-owners Andrea Bryson and David Huebner met 23 years ago. \u201cI was a flight attendant, and David was a contractor in Lake Tahoe,\u201d Andrea says. She studied fashion in college before being picked up by a headhunter in California to work for high-end companies Bloomingdale\u2019s and Eileen Fisher. Eventually, the couple decided to leave the big-city hustle for something slower paced. \u201cWe left California in an RV and ended up in West Asheville, where I picked up a part-time job at Clothes Mentor,\u201d Andrea says.<\/p>\n

Asheville was meant to be a temporary stop, but three months after arriving, the couple learned that Clothes Mentor was for sale. \u201cThe shop wasn\u2019t up to its full potential when we purchased it, but is now thriving,\u201d Andrea says. \u201cI couldn\u2019t be more thankful for my amazingly wonderful staff.\u201d<\/p>\n
