Jos\u00e9 Gonzalez and Gabriel Mu\u00f1oz<\/p><\/div>\n

Jos\u00e9 Gonzalez and Gabriel Mu\u00f1oz originally met in junior high school but reconnected as adults and have been together for more than 25 years. \u201cBefore retail, I was executive vice president of sales and marketing for a real estate developer and Gabriel was director of medical contracting for a nationwide psychiatric care insurance company,\u201d says Jos\u00e9.<\/p>\n

Between 2015 and 2018, the couple owned three stores in Waynesville before finally launching J Gabriel in Cashiers, where they have now been for five years. Recently, when they saw an opportunity to re-open in Waynesville, they jumped on it. Though the newest location is only two months old, the couple is pleased with its early success.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe have developed incredible relationships throughout the years,\u201d says Gabriel. \u201cOur customers have become friends and now they are like family.\u201d<\/p>\n
