The two galleries hope to donate enough for three months\u2019 worth of art and music supplies\u2014about $1,500.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAs a small, North Carolina-based nonprofit, we depend on our community support to ensure we can provide services and bring creativity into the hospitals for kids and families,\u201d says Katharine Phlegar Broughton, executive director of AFL.<\/p>\n<p>The funds raised by Grovewood will be used to support AFL\u2019s programs at Mission Children\u2019s Hospital locations. \u201cOur expert program staff and incredible volunteer team bring high-quality art materials into the hospital to ensure the best experience for kids and teens\u2014and that\u2019s only possible with funding support from individuals and groups like Grovewood,\u201d says Broughton.<\/p>\n<p><em>Grovewood Village is located at 111 Grovewood Road, adjacent to and below the Omni Grove Park Inn in Asheville. Gallery of the Mountains is located inside the Grove Park Inn. Gallery hours are Monday through Sunday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Free parking is available onsite.
