Husband-and-wife team Tom Reardon and Kathleen Doyle each bring 50 years of metalsmith expertise to their Grovewood Village studio, and the two have been working together to design and create jewelry for more than 40 years. \u201cOur studio includes a small showroom, integrated into our workspace, where clients can view a curated collection of our original designs,\u201d Doyle says. \u201cWe create hand-crafted jewelry that blends timeless craftsmanship with deep connection of place. Many of these pieces are inspired by the mountain landscapes that surround us\u2014an ongoing theme in our work that reflects our love for nature and quiet storytelling through form.\u201d<\/p>\n

Precious metals as well as copper, brass, bronze and fine pewter find their way into their designs, which range from affordable pieces to high-end works. The artists work one-on-one with clients by appointment for creative experiences that are collaborative and personal. \u201cMost of our designs can be customized in size or adapted to incorporate meaningful materials,\u201d says Doyle. \u201cWe frequently work with heirloom stones or client-supplied gems, and we provide design sketches and 3D models to bring each piece to life with care and precision.\u201d<\/p>\n

Reardon and Doyle have created in the historic Grovewood Village since 1995, finding inspiration in Western North Carolina landscapes. Their Pisgah View<\/em> mountain rings are popular with those seeking jewelry that reflects this natural beauty. \u201cWhile our focus remains on evolving and refining our core body of work, we also create new pieces as time allows, always with an eye towards craftsmanship, connection and authenticity,\u201d says Doyle. \u201cFor us, jewelry is more than adornment. It is a lasting expression of memory, meaning and relationship.\u201d<\/p>\n
