With a recent move back to the River Arts District\u2019s (RAD\u2019s) Cotton Mill Studios, ArtPlay has begun what owner Kristen Edge calls the beginning of the studio\u2019s third chapter. Flooding from Helene caused a relocation out of the RAD where ArtPlay had been since November 2021.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s a chapter that feels full of possibility,\u201d Edge says. \u201cIn addition to the classes and creative gatherings you know and love, I\u2019m excited to introduce some new offerings that will weave together art-making, guided meditation and sensory experiences designed to quiet the mind, awaken curiosity and open the creative channels.\u201d<\/p>\n

For Cotton Mill\u2019s Grand Reopening, ArtPlay will offer complimentary creative experiences designed to foster community and honor shared experiences.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere is something deeply meaningful about planting new roots in the very neighborhood where ArtPlay was born,\u201d Edge says. \u201cAfter everything we\u2019ve experienced over the past few years, being back among this vibrant community of artists, makers and dreamers feels both grounding and full of hope.\u201d<\/p>\n
