The auction acknowledges the 2-year milestone of Hurricane Helene, including the flooding of Trackside Studios, creative home to 60 local artists. Net proceeds will be split evenly between the artists and BeLoved Asheville, a local nonprofit organization that has supported the community before, during and since Helene.<\/p>\n<p>Auction pieces can be viewed in person at Trackside Studios from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. The auction will be held online September 1 to 14 at <b>\u00a0<\/b><a href=\"https:\/\/givebutter.com\/c\/support-beloved-asheville-with-local-art-cls3d6\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><b>Resilience: Art &amp; Community | Trackside Studios<\/b><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Many of the &#8220;survivor&#8221; art pieces have visible damage, demonstrating their endurance. Some pieces were created from materials that were salvaged from the mud after flood waters retreated, and each carries a story, too \u2014 of artists digging deep within themselves to find the energy, courage and heart to move forward.<\/p>\n<p>The stories for each piece are told by the artist on the auction site and on labels at the studio.
