For the next event in our series, Recovery, Re-thinking, and Rebuilding Post-Helene, we are engaging historians and scholars with deep knowledge and insights on Appalachia and the Swannanoa Valley. Dr. Jeff Keith of Warren Wilson College will be joined by Dr. Ron Eller, professor emeritus of the University of Kentucky, an expert on development, the environment, and social change in Appalachia, and the Swannanoa Valley\u2019s own Anne Chesky to reflect on lessons and insights from devastation and efforts to recover and rebuild after floods and other destruction in the region. We look forward to having you join us at what is sure to be a fascinating and educational evening full of insights and ideas that can inform our path forward in this moment. <\/p>\n
