Modelface Comedy Presents: Laughs for SNAP as part of the Comedy For Community series<\/p>\n

Locals supporting locals is the heart of Asheville.
\nComedy for Community brings your favorite comedians together each month to support the town we love through a variety of local charities and organizations. This month we are partnering with MANNA Foodbank!<\/p>\n

The government is shutdown and no longer funding SNAP and other food programs in America. 42 million Americans are losing their food benefits and will need assistance from local foodbanks.
\nWe need to come together for to support our community and prevent increasing hunger in WNC.
\nTicket sales from this event are going to MANNA Foodbank. We will also be collecting non-perishable goods at the door.<\/p>\n

MANNA FoodBank\u2019s mission is to involve, educate, and unite people in the work of ending hunger in Western North Carolina.<\/p>\n

Thanks to a strong community of donors, volunteers, and food donors, MANNA stretches every resource possible to provide food to more than 100,000 people facing food insecurity across the region, and we can provide FOUR MEALS for every $1 donated.<\/p>\n

Come laugh, learn, and support your neighbors.<\/p>\n
