The musical is narrated by local actress Krista Tortura.  The narration is the story of a fictional Jewish Woman whose family escaped from the Holocaust.  That Holocaust history and DNA drives Sarah to reach out and work with other oppressed peoples who, like her parents, are fleeing from authoritarian regimes to seek safety in America.<br \/>\nThe story bridges Sarah&#8217;s birth to her final realizations about death and about being a mother to two children.
