Indigo dye is often used to get the distinctive patterns you may recognize in today\u2019s fashion and home d\u00e9cor fabrics.<\/p>\n<p>In this hands-on two-day workshop, artist Diane Kuehn will share the fundamentals of shibori folding and binding techniques to create beautiful patterns on fabric with indigo dye. We will also learn to prepare an indigo vat and how to prepare fabric to dye with scouring techniques. Students can expect to make pillow or napkin sized sample pieces and a cotton scarf.
