Holland has spent the better part of his life working with wood. As a child, he had access to his father\u2019s workshop and was able to use the tools and supplies. Learning these skills early in life, led him to choose a career in construction where he honed his skills in California before taking on construction work in remote Costa Rica and eventually the United States Virgin Islands. Holland and his family relocated to western North Carolina in 2012 where he built a studio surrounded by the Pisgah National Forest.
