This four-session workshop, facilitated by Amy Arnold, guides participants to source creative inspiration from everyday experiences and interaction with others. Together, we’ll explore simple practices in mindfulness and social engagement that enhance our creative ideas and process and we’ll practice making these a regular, enriching part of our lives. Mindfulness in the natural world will play an important part in our explorations.<\/p>\n

We will gather online weekly to investigate our subject from multiple angles, using mindfulness practices, writing exercises, discussion, and collaboration. We’ll discover how to ask questions that help us find meaning and purpose for our creative expression. Between classes there will be several short, daily assignments designed to deepen our learning and create new creative habits. Creative tools used will include various forms of writing, drawing, and smartphone photography, and will be relevant to other media.<\/p>\n
