Beginning with a short presentation, participants will learn why composting matters, what\u2019s happening inside a compost pile, and a variety of composting methods including traditional piles, tumblers, bokashi, and worm bins. Next participants will get hands-on with real compost samples and learn how to balance \u201cgreens\u201d and \u201cbrowns\u201d to create healthy compost as well as how to identify unfinished, finished, and anaerobic compost.
