Pink Regalia is a women’s lingerie boutique with two locations. Stephany Smathers opened the first one in Waynesville in 2010 as a specialty shop to serve women following their mastectomies. It soon expanded its offerings, and then Stephany opened a second store last year in Asheville’s Biltmore Forest.
“Finding a way to empower women has always been important to me and this is a great way to do that,” says Stephany, whose educational and volunteering background is in theological studies and women’s issues. She thinks of a bra fitting as more than just taking measurements; it’s a kind of problem-solving. As every woman’s body is unique, Pink Regalia strives to meet the personal needs of each shopper.
