AmiciMusic Presents “The Bs in Spring”

With a program of music by the famous “B” composers—Johann Sebastian Bach, Ludwig van Beethoven, and Johannes Brahms—AmiciMusic ushers in a new season of performances this month.

Tim Schwarz will be the featured guest artist in these concerts, performing on both violin and viola, in collaboration with pianist and AmiciMusic artistic director Daniel Weiser.

Tim, an assistant professor at Rowan University in New Jersey, and Daniel will present Bach Partita, Beethoven’s epic C Minor Violin Sonata, and F Minor Viola Sonata by Brahms.

The two musicians met as classmates at the Peabody Conservatory and were formerly known as the Upper Valley Duo. In 1996, they were named by the U.S. State Department as Artistic Ambassadors of Music, and sent on a tour of the Middle East and Southeast Asia, performing more than 50 concerts over a two-month period.
