Get Muddy for a Good Cause June 4
For most children, nothing says summer enjoyment quite like getting mud on their clothes. But why should kids have all the fun? Open to racers of all abilities (children must be 12 or older), the fifth annual Mad Mountain Mud Run is a three-mile obstacle course and race on Saturday, June 4, at Berkeley Park in Hendersonville. Teams of four must register in advance ($200) as space is limited.
Spectators can also have a great time. The run takes place during the Finish Line Festival on Saturday, June 4, from noon to 6 P.M. Family members, friends, and other folks who are not participating are invited to enjoy food, beverages, and music by the Stipe Brothers.
Proceeds benefit Hands On! children’s museum (handsonwnc. org) in downtown Hendersonville, which seeks to provide children and families with experiences that stimulate the imagination and motivate learning in a fun, safe environment. Learn more about the event at madmountainmudrun.com.
